Andrea Solo violin rosin features
From the first application, you’ll immediately notice a change in tone. Solo violin rosin provides an incredibly powerful projection, yet it won’t jeopardise the finesse of the soloist’s playing. It is also easily forgiving under high bow pressure on the strings without the sound cracking.
This rosin bore the name Andrea Bang, the father of the American-Korean violinist who created this recipe. It took him many journeys to find the right ingredients and hundreds of trials to develop the different recipes. Today, not only is the recipe a secret, but each cake is also exclusively handmade by the creator, Peter Bahng.
Furthermore, two sizes are available for the rosin cake – half and full.

My review on Andrea Solo violin rosin
This rosin offers first of all a very good tone, with little effort. Although it will give you a very generous volume, it will nevertheless support you with ease in all nuances. It is ideal for soloists (hence its name) but, most of all, it is great for big concert halls.
Finaly, it is quite interesting to apply it on a newly rehaired bow. Indeed, it gives an immediat grip and does not need to be applied multiple times to sature the new hairs.
