A great protection inside
Both instruments will be just like in a real jewel case once placed in it. Indeed, BAM cases are completely covered with a polyurethane foam developed specialised to lock the fragile instruments. Not only does it offer an incredible resistance to any kind of bumps, but it is also perfectly insulated. Moreover, the outside cover made of Cordura 1000 Denier is both very resistant and improve even more the weather-proofing.
This foam designed by BAM has a surprising lifespan. In fact, its durability is such that it will return to its original shape and spring for a very long time!
This case has been specially designed for a 4/4 violin and a 41,5 cm viola.
nside, there are some interesting details such as the possibility to attach up to four bows. Moreover, there is a tube to store additional strings and an accessories compartment.
On the outside of the case, there are the usual backpack-style straps that are removable and adjustable. There is also a large extensible pocket to store your music sheet.

My review on BAM Classic double case for violin and viola
The coating inside this case is really special. The violin and viola are cocooned and held in place by two small cushions. It’s really hard to imagine anything softer to absorb the little bumps of everyday life.
Even if you love being under the spotlight, hre you only have three relatively discreet and sobre colours. They are still beautiful and will please most musicians. Whether you choose a blue, green, or black case, the quality remains the same and will be able to withstand challenges over the years. As for me, I have a soft spot for the green one – it sets a quite interesting contrast with the inside of the case.
