Characteristics of the Violin Alexandre LEFRANCOIS 4/4
This violin is first of all built with selected and dried wood, according to the know-how of the famous Vosges town. It is stored and dried naturally, in the open air, for many years in order to obtain the desired stability.
The arches are entirely made from noble European wood species, scrupulously respecting traditional methods. These measures, which are the result of many years of experience, give particularly high and powerful arches. This is why this violin will mature with time and use. And therefore value.
The varnish, particularly worked, provides the necessary flexibility to obtain the best acoustic results. This one is slightly worked in contrast, but not in replica.

The opinion of the violin maker
This violin is particularly suitable for advanced musicians. All the efforts are made to get the best performance, whether it is for the arches or the varnish. That’s why it will deliver solid tones with balance and clarity from the very first notes, but will also mature and develop over many years to get the sound you need. Of course, regular monitoring and adjustments will accompany this progress.
